Groom is a barber shop, located in Center City, Philadelphia that combines classic techniques with modern style. Joe McMenamin, the owner and stylist, has established a setting that is quaint and comfortable. The decor, good conversation, and sweet background sounds from artists like Stan Getz and Django Reinhardt, are all part of what makes this as much about the experience as it does about the haircut.

Joe specializes in short super textured haircuts, smooth mid-length "Mad Men" styles and long layered razor cuts for guys. Also a "go to guy" for many of the city's Costume Directors; he's created looks for plays set in France, circa 1890; 1930's America; 1950's Italy and the 70's British punk scene. Picture classic meets contemporary.

BJ's an expert with short to mid-length hair styling. She creates light textured short cuts and the popular mid-century "Mad Men" look has become her forte as well. This girl Barber is a pro with the straight razor and delivers an awesome shave with a light touch. After the hot towels, lotion and a quick massage it's siesta time.

If it's the classic Vanguard, Flat top boogie or Junior contour you need then Frank is your Barber. His precision and meticulous short cuts are the perfect throw back and his Ivy league dos will get you noticed.
